D+D proposes Cube restaurant

D&D London is developing a 12,000sq ft (1,114sq m) rooftop restaurant at The Cube in Birmingham.

D&D’s first UK venture outside London will comprise Birmingham’s first panoramic rooftop restaurant – designed by Conran & Partners – which will feature 10m-high glass windows for panoramic views.

The Cube – designed by Make architects – will comprise a 25-storey building containing restaurants, cafés, bars, a boutique hotel, apartments, offices and shops.

Construction of The Cube is underway, with completion planned for 2010.
