From I-M Health comes their ‘Age and Health Measurement System’.

Using biomarkers and general health indicators, it is said to measure the rate at which individual body regions are ageing and helps to provide an accurate assessment of the patient’s health.

This allows for a comparison of biological age against chronological age, enabling the practitioner to determine whether their patient is ageing faster than they should be.

Additionally, a comparison of the patient’s information against their previous data is claimed to – over a period of time – help to provide a true and accurate overview of their ongoing state of health and help to ascertain whether individual treatments or protocols are working.

One of the main features of the system is the way in which it displays a patient’s results. A range of visualisations, including a body map (pictured) showing individual body regions and the rate at which they are ageing, are intended to help the patient in understanding the nature of their problem.

The makers claim that the impact of seeing a red area on a body map is far greater than a doctor explaining that a marker in their blood test is 50 per cent higher than what it should be.

The system provides a full overview of results, graphs, test explanations and offers advice and guidance when interpreting the patient’s results.
