Tapware and shower company Methven is celebrating another prestigious award win after its Kiri Satinjet Ultra Low Flow Shower won a medal at the 2011 Green Good Design Awards from The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, the world's largest and oldest awards for contemporary design.
The Kiri Satinjet Ultra Low Flow Shower became available in the UK and Europe earlier this year and judges praised the shower for its sophisticated design, superior performance and impressive water and energy saving credentials.
Using only 5.7lt of water a minute to deliver thousands of droplets per second with its Satinjet twin-jet technology, the Ultra Low Flow shower is a single function design with smooth bevelled edges that intersect with rectangular and circular forms, giving it the characteristic Kiri design signature.
The Kiri Satinjet Ultra Low Flow Shower is suited to both domestic and commercial environments.
