The International Spa Association (ISPA) has announced that happiness expert Shawn Achor will deliver the opening keynote speech at the 28th annual ISPA Conference & Expo, which takes place in Phoenix from 24-26 September.
Achor, a New York Times bestselling author, has just published a new self-help book – Big Potential.
He'll draw on his own research, as well as his work with NASA, the NFL and the NBA, to deliver a speech on the connection between happiness and success, exploring the idea that happiness is a team effort.
Achor will walk listeners through five actionable steps that will enable them to reach their own 'big potential'.
Lynne McNees, ISPA president said: "Shawn Achor’s opening keynote presentation and his passion for achieving happiness will be an amazing way to kick off the 2018 ISPA Conference & Expo.
"His message will bring this year’s theme – CONNECT – to life, as he shows us all how to find our own happiness and use it to reach our ultimate potential," McNees added.
