Heritage Pubs sold for £35m

Admiral Taverns has today announced that it has bought Heritage Pubs from Robert Tchenguiz’s Globe Pub Company in a deal believed to be worth around £35m.

The acquisition – which comprises 127 Heritage tenanted and leased pubs located throughout the UK – brings Admiral’s estate to a total of 627 properties.

Globe is to retain 104 outlets from the original Heritage portfolio, which it acquired in June 2005.

Since its creation in 2004, Admiral has acquired pubs from Enterprise Inns, Punch Taverns, Avebury Taverns and Greene King. Details: www.admiraltaverns.com
