Avida shares our belief that true beauty begins with wellness. Together, we offer a 360-degree approach that blends skincare, cellular health, and preventive care for lasting, radiant beauty
– Karen Ballou, founder, Immunocologie
Skincare brand Immunocologie has made its debut in Dubai as the exclusive partner for a brand new spa, the Avida Longevity Centre in the city’s Jumeirah area.

The first location for Avida, the 242sq m spa Avida is an integrated all-in-one longevity centre concept, that combines diagnostics, personalised health plans and direct implementation under one roof. It plans to open more locations in the UAE and will take Immunocologie with it as its partner.

It has a massage and beauty room, a recovery suite for physiotherapy, a nutrition lab for assessments and consultations and spaces for red light therapy and cryotherapy. It also has a yoga and movement studio plus a gym and personal training area.

Immunocologie, the only skincare brand selected to partner with Blue Zones (regions known for the world’s longest-living populations) will offer a signature facial to complement the spa’s commitment to longevity.

The beauty ritual will involve gentle cleansing to remove impurities, mineral-rich toning with the brand’s Vital Ionic Mist, targeted hydration via its Super 7 Elixir or Hyaluronic Serum. To lock in the hydration, the ritual uses the collection’s face serum oil and night protection products. The therapy is finished with a three-minute mindfulness practice.

The skincare brand was founded by Karen Ballou after her cancer diagnosis highlighted how compromised her immunity was, including her first line of defence – her skin. Ballou worked to create a range of products with functional ingredients such as marine algae and other minerals to support skin immunity.

Karen Ballou said, “Avida shares our belief that true beauty begins with wellness. Together, we offer a 360-degree approach that blends skincare, cellular health, and preventive care for lasting, radiant beauty.”

The spa’s primary target audience includes individuals around 40-plus and above who are proactively interested in healthy ageing. People aged 60-plus, who want to navigate later life with the support of professionals are also in the target market.

Valerie Gojon, business development and strategy manager at Avida, said, “We don’t just recommend lifestyle changes or treatments – we provide the tools, environment and accountability to help clients follow through. Our focus on continuous monitoring and measurable results means each plan is dynamic, evolving to meet our clients’ needs.”

Avida has plans to expand within other cities in the UAE, namely Abu Dhabi, before settling in other locations across the wider GCC region.
