OBE for Eve Taylor

Eve Taylor has been awarded the Order of the British Empire in the Queen's 2008 New Year's Honours list.

The award recognises her contribution to 'aromatherapy and the beauty profession' across the world.

Part of the beauty industry for more than 40 years, Eve Taylor first started in the business in 1963 and is still teaching and lecturing today at the age of 75. Her company's products are available worldwide.

Of the OBE, she said: "I am very proud to be given such an award.

"The recognition that I have now been given will I hope help to encourage many new students and professional therapists across the world to never stop learning."
