Research: Gharieni MLX I³Dome scientifically proven to aid recovery and wellbeing
07 Sep 2021 . BY Megan Whitby
 /
After conducting this study, we found substantial improvement in the body’s recovery after using the MLX I³Dome
– Christophe Hausswirth
The Gharieni Group has revealed the results from the first part of its ongoing research series into the physiological effects of its concept beds.

The recent report focused on Gharieni’s MLX I³Dome treatment table which combines Far Infrared (FIR) technology with Plasma-and Light-therapies to offer three treatment methods on one table.

Featuring an extendable infrared dome, the bed is designed to deliver a standalone therapy, meaning that after the guest is positioned on the table, inside the dome, no therapist is required.

Named The Impact of Acute Exposure to MLX I³Dome in Recovery After Intense Exercise: Effects on blood and muscle parameters, sport, the recent study’s results revealed that the Gharieni MLX I³Dome helps:
– Decrease muscle soreness
– Improve blood pH
– Improve wellbeing.

This new study series was designed by researcher Christophe Hausswirth, MD, PhD and in collaboration with the University of the Côte d’Azur, the European Sleep Center in France and the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.

Summarising his findings, Hausswirth commented: “Hands-free devices can efficiently increase one’s health capital – both physically and psychologically. After conducting this study, we found substantial improvement in the body’s recovery after using the MLX I³Dome.”

Gharieni CEO Sammy Gharieni weighed-in saying: “The spa industry is gradually drawing away from the mere use of saunas, steamrooms and traditional massages for sports recovery and wellbeing after exercise.

“Now, we’re in a wellness world that looks beyond traditional spa services to benefit its guests. We know the human element is irreplaceable and that the use of technology to create more efficient and targeted outcomes creates higher value for both consumers and the owner/operator.”

He added: “We’re very excited to collaborate with Dr Hausswirth and his team in supporting our efforts to verify the benefits we know that our technology provides.

“What we found out is a game-changer and will help to build the bridge for spa hotels and wellness offerings to provide a guest experience from the gym directly to the spa.”

More studies for Gharieni concept beds are in the pipeline and findings will be shared accordingly with the industry – bringing maximum impact to an individual’s health and wellness outcomes.
