Scottish football club, St Mirren, is set to leave its Love Street ground in January 2009 after 114 years at the site.
The relocation to a new site at Greenhill Park in Paisley is part of a £15m deal with supermarket Tesco, which was finalised last year.
Work on St Mirren's new 8,000 all-seater stadium began in January earlier this year, with Barr Construction responsible for the build. It is expected to be completed by the end of November, with the football club set to play their first match at their new home on 31 January against Kilmarnock.
The project will also see three all-weather, five-a-side pitches installed at the new site.
Chairman Stuart Gilmour said: "We hope the new stadium with the facilities it offers will encourage the people of Paisley and Renfrewshire to get behind St Mirren as we enter an exciting period for the club."
The club will continue to play at Love Street until they move to the new stadium, after which it will be redeveloped into a new Tesco store.
