Swallow takes over Risley Hall

Swallow Hotels has acquired Hall in Derbyshire for an undisclosed sum.

The 36-room, Grade II-listed hotel is set in 12 acres of historic landscaped gardens and facilities include an Aqua Health Spa and five meeting rooms.

The hotel has become popular as a venue for weddings – a tradition which Swallow Hotels aims to maintain.

Alan Bowes, chief executive of Swallow Hotels, said: “We promise to bring this landmark property to its former glory and welcome all couples who wish to marry at this prestigious location.”
