The Prism Light Pad FMT is something new, it meets hotel spas exactly where they are and gives them a seamless, low-barrier path into the advanced cellular wellness category while elevating their investments in luxury massage tables
– Karl Chen, founder Prism Light Pod

Prism Light Pod has revamped its whole-body red light therapy light pad technology portfolio with the introduction of the Prism Light Pad FMT (For Massage Tables).

The new format is designed to fit precisely around massage tables manufactured by Lemi, Oakworks, Gharieni Group and Living Earth Crafts.

Integrating with spa infrastructure in this way provides operators with a way to offer clients a “premium cellular wellness experience” without the investment required for a standalone red light bed, according to the company.

The company has also upgraded its existing red light therapy pad, which is now called Prism Light Pad Gen-2.

The upgrades include:

  • Whole body red and near-infrared light that is 20 per cent more irradiant than the original version, according to the brand.
  • The cushioned fabric is now 30 per cent thicker, for a noticeably softer feel for guests.
  • The metal connectors and LED wiring have been enhanced to reduce downtime.

Prism Light Pod’s founder, Karl Chen, said: “We’ve always believed that cellular wellness should be as practical as it is powerful. The Gen-2 is a meaningful evolution of what our partners already trust. The Prism Light Pad FMT is something new, it meets hotel spas exactly where they are and gives them a seamless, low-barrier path into the advanced cellular wellness category while elevating their investments in luxury massage tables.”

Both of the new pads will be unveiled at ISPA in Las Vegas, US, on 31 March, with prices starting at US$9,995 (€9,195, £7,770) per pad.
