Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California, has named Jacqueline Berry as spa director for its Miraval Life In Balance Spa.

Open since 2016, the Miraval Life in Balance Spa at Monarch Beach Resort is Miraval Group’s first hotel partnership and first coastal location.

With more than 20 years' of experience in the spa and wellness industry, Berry is an expert in growing and leading teams in resorts, onboard cruise ships, in boutique hotels, and day spas.

Discovering the power of massage therapy at a young age, Berry began massage school at 18 and began her professional spa career with the Steiner Transocean, as the youngest crew member onboard the Sun Princess during its inaugural season.

She continued to expand her knowledge most recently as the spa director at the Lake Austin Spa Resort in Austin, Texas.
