Tableware specialist La Porcellana launched two new ranges at the Restaurant Show recently.
‘Event’, described as the first tableware to be both chic and versatile, and ‘Generation’, a stylish porcelain collection with an elegant cream body, are both designed and manufactured by German company Schönwald.
Event, created by Carsten Gollnick, comes with a wide choice of serving plates, bowls and platters and – although claimed to be perfect for event and function catering – is expected to be equally popular in fashionable restaurants and hotels for breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
Designed by Hans-Wilhelm Seitz, Generation is Schönwald’s first cream coloured hard porcelain. Using an exclusive and newly developed ‘Dura-cream’ body it is extremely durable, being both scratch and chip-resistant.
Also new at the show was a deepflank pasta dish, part of the company’s Elivero range. Available in two sizes it has flared rims and can be supplied either plain or decorated with one of La Porcellana’s new ‘Signature’ designs.
