Cluubhaus is mired in a shareholder revolt led by Eddy Shah and tennis star David Lloyd, according to a report in The Times. After weeks of exchanges the two men are reported to have brought matters to a head by submitting a special notice calling on fellow shareholders to support the removal of four Clubhaus directors, including Charlie Parker, the managing director and Robert Bourne, the chair and former Dome bidder. The Times says Shah and Lloyd, who between them hold 2.5 per cent, have put themselves forward for election as non-executive directors. They are reported to have proposed that Martin Knight, deputy chair of AIM-listed Crown Sports, which owns 3.86 per cent, should join the board. The group is also reported to be embroiled in negotiations with its bondholders over a possible debt-for-equity swap. Clubhaus is not commenting on media reports.
