Elisabeth Rugani has joined Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, as director of spa and wellness.

Rugani was previously director of spa and wellbeing at the ESPA Spa at The Metropole Hotel in Monaco, where she was in charge of launching Odyssey, a space designed by Karl Lagerfeld, which features a beach area, pool and dining venue, and is promoted through membership to Monte-Carlo residents.

Before taking on the role at ESPA, Rugani worked with La Reserve Palace, Spa and Villas as both director of spa and director of spa sales at both La Reserve, Ramatuelle in Saint Tropez and at La Reserve, Geneva. In addition, Rugani was part of the pre-opening team at SHA Wellness Clinic in Alicante, Spain as international relations manager, developing and launching the SHA Wellness Clinic concept.
