2023 World Spa Awards celebrate industry’s best and brightest

World Spa Awards has announced the winners of its 2023 programme.
Mandarin Oriental retained its title of World’s Best Hotel Spa Brand for the second year running.
Lanserhof's new German outpost in Sylt scooped an award for World's Best Spa Design as well as World’s Best New Wellness Retreat.
There are 349 World Spa Awards available. These are split into 10 categories: World, Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Europe, Indian Ocean, Latin America, Middle East, North America and Oceania.
The World Spa Awards – the global initiative designed to celebrate and reward excellence in the spa and wellness sector – has announced the winners of its ninth annual programme.

The announcement follows a year-long search for the world’s top spa and wellness brands. Votes were cast by industry professionals, the media and the general public.

With 349 accolades up for grabs, the awards are split into 10 categories: World (42), Africa (33), Asia (53), Caribbean (25), Europe (75), Indian Ocean (8), Latin America (20), Middle East (34), North America (43) and Oceania (16).

World’s Best Hotel Spa – Bürgenstock Alpine Spa, Lucerne Switzerland.
World’s Best Wellness Retreat – Palazzo Fiuggi, Fiuggi, Italy.
World’s Best Wellness Clinic – SHA Wellness.
World's Best Thermal Spa and Medical Wellness Operator – Vamed Vitality World.
World’s Best Hotel Spa Brand – Mandarin Oriental (for the second year running).
World’s Best Aromatherapy Brand – Aromatherapy Associates (for the second year running).
World’s Best Spa Brand – L’Occitane.
World’s Best Spa Design – Lanserhof Sylt, Germany.
World's Best Wellness Retreat Brand – Miraval Resorts & Spas.
World’s Best Spa Signature Treatment – The Spa at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort, Mexico.

Newcomers category
World’s Best New Resort Spa – Awaken Spa at Atlantis The Royal, Dubai.
World’s Best New Hotel Spa – Clinique La Prairie Longevity Hub at The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl, Qatar.
World’s Best New Wellness Retreat – Lanserhof Sylt, Germany.

Destination awards
World’s Best Spa Destination – Dubai.
World’s Best Wellness Destination – Bali.

Rebecca Cohen, World Spa Awards managing director, says: “The spa and wellness industry is experiencing sustained growth, evident in the calibre of nominees in our 2023 programme.

“We’ve seen a notable increase in first-time recipients, while previous winners also continue to push the boundaries of excellence by retaining their titles. All winners have shown dedication to delivering exceptional spa and wellness experiences and we’re excited to share these achievements with the world.”

World Spa Awards has announced the winners of its 2023 programme.
