Spa and hotel in Cornwall, UK opening in July

A new hotel and spa in Cornwall, UK is scheduled to open its doors next month.

The Headland Spa at the Headland Hotel in Newquay, will open in two phases.

The initial phase, which opens in July, will see a pool with jet stream and bubble seats, a rasul, steam room, Swedish sauna and aromatherapy showers. Also included will be a gym, manicure and pedicure area, relaxation room and an ocean-facing spa dining lounge.

In the second phase, due to be completed in autumn 2013, will see the addition of a couples' VIP suite featuring a hydrotherapy bath.

The spa offers treatments from organic seaweed brand Voya, essential oils specialist Aromatherapy Associates and skincare line Kerstin Florian.

Also on offer is local brand Spiezia, and organic range made in Cornwall at the Health & Wellbeing Innovation Centre.

The Spa's signature treatment "The Dreaming" uses Spiezia products and also features a scrub and massage treatment with music using natural sounds from the Cornish coast.
