Alchemist Spa opens at Woolacombe Bay Hotel
POSTED 29 Mar 2019 . BY Lauren Heath-Jones
The spa is billed as a sanctuary by the sea
The Alchemist Spa, formerly the Haven Spa at the Woolacombe Bay Hotel in Devon, UK, has reopened after having undergone a major upgrade.

Masterminded by hotel MD Sally Lancaster, the spa is billed as a 'sanctuary by the sea', and offers views of the Atlantic coast.

It features an extensive treatment menu with rituals and products from Natural Spa Factory, as well as a host of new facilities including four treatment rooms, a manicure and pedicure parlour, a rasul suite, a copper tub room and 'The Optimist' relaxation room, as well as an indoor pool with spa bath, sauna and steam room.

To create the new look spa the hotel worked with consultancy firm Spa Vision, who offered design expertise, as well as supplied, designed and installed the rasul suite and sourced four LEC Kensington +Studio treatment beds and one GharieniSPL soft treatment bed.

"The Woolacombe Bay Hotel is a landmark of the North Devon coast," Colin Cameron, director of Spa Vision. "At its heart sits The Alchemist Spa which plays a vital role in not only attracting visitors but maintaining the overall ambience, culture and experience the hotel offers its guests."

"Working closely with the hotel owner and her team on this project enabled us to offer a broad spectrum of expertise and support across a number of key areas to optimise the final result, ensuring it fitted perfectly with their vision and ambitions for the spa for many years to come."

Clare Palfreeman, manager of The Alchemist Spa, said: "Colin was extremely helpful in our journey to install the new Rasul experience. He provided innovative ideas and was happy to join us on our spa evolution - providing support to help us realise our vision."
