Healing Summit rescheduled to May 2022
POSTED 09 Jul 2021 . BY Megan Whitby
The in-person Healing Summit was originally scheduled to be hosted in Portugal at Pine Cliffs Resort in October 2021, but has since been postponed until May 2022

Our commitment to healing is stronger than ever, and we remain open to this amazing community we've created together
– Anne Biging
The Healing Summit, the international conference dedicated to healing, wellbeing and initiating positive personal and societal change, has been postponed to May 2022.

The 7th annual Healing Summit – originally scheduled for October 2021 in Albufeira, Portugal – has been moved due to the constantly changing COVID-19 infection rates around the globe.

An annual event since 2014, the summit is an initiative of the Healing Hotels of the World , and brings together like-minded individuals who are drawn to collaborate, raise awareness and inspire change.

Healing Summit co-founders – Anne Biging, Elisabeth Ixmeier and Claudia Roth – are dedicated to the wellbeing of the delegates, speakers, administration and hotel staff, and stressed that the welfare and good health of all attendees is their number one priority.

Biging emphasised: “Although great progress has been made in stemming the COVID-19 tide, every country has its own particular story.

“While we wish it would have been safe to gather as planned in October, the wide disparity of COVID cases in different parts of the world means we firmly believe the best option would be to wait further. Despite this, our commitment to healing is stronger than ever, and we remain open to this amazing community we've created together."

In addition to the rescheduled event in May 2022, the Healing Summit and Healing Hotels of the World team will honour the original intention of coming together by planning a half-day virtual event in October 2021.

More information on the in-person Healing Summit in Portugal next year and the virtual summit is forthcoming.

Since the pandemic began, both organisations have expanded their online experiences so that they can share the power supplied by their network of healing specialists with people in every corner of the globe.
