Colorado bathing hub The Springs Resort is undergoing a comprehensive rennovation
The destination is being updated with brand-new accommodation, bathing facilities, event space and a new restaurant
The project is estimated to be completed in early Q2 of 2025
Owning company Olympus Real Estate Group will conduct the redevelopment
The Springs Resort in Pagosa, Colorado, is set to undergo a significant expansion to elevate its hotel and day pass guest experience.

With an estimated opening date in early Q2 2025, the overhaul will double both the destination’s number of rooms and its number of geothermal mineral soaking pools, plus adding new wellness experiences, event spaces and a new indoor/outdoor full-service restaurant.

The Springs accommodation currently consists of 79 rooms and suites located just steps away from 25 hot spring pools terraced along the San Juan River and fed by a geothermal spring named the Mother Spring.

Following the overhaul, the destination will be home to 157 rooms and 51 soaking pools exclusively available 24/7 to hotel and spa guests.

The refresh will also add a geothermal-inspired spa with an indoor treatment pool, a grotto-style pool, a reflexology walk and cold plunge waterfall stations along the river’s shores.

A brand-new adults-only relaxation area and a dedicated movement studio will complete the offering.

To freshen up programming, the resort will unveil an expanded schedule of specialised daily wellness activities including aqua sound bathing, forest yoga, AquaYoga and the Warrior Plunge – a guided contrast bathing experience in the San Juan River.

The property is owned by Olympus Real Estate Group, a real estate investment and development firm. Olympus is also the owner of the historic Murietta Hot Springs in California, which it plans to revive to its former glory with another major renovation project.
