Spa Bella European Day Spa and Salon in Wichita Falls, Texas, US, has launched its fifth annual Operation Spa Kids charity event.
The salon will close its doors to customers on 24 August to give underprivileged children at The Faith Mission, The Rainbow House, foster families and local schools, among others, a free haircut and manicure as part of its Foster Kids and Children in Need Pamper Day!
In addition, this year the spa is inviting people to contribute a shoebox filled with 14 basic personal hygiene products, including a toothbrush, comb, shampoo and soap, as part of its new Operation Adopt-A-Box scheme.
Around 200 local children will be given their free shoebox, haircut and manicure on 24 August.
