Following an extensive renovation plan, the Bedford Springs Resort and spa has reopened in the south central area of Pennsylvania, US.
Bedford Springs is a National Historic Landmark resort and dates back to 1796.
Owned by the independent management group Benchmark Hospitality International, the Bedford Springs Hotel once hosted a number of ex-US presidents and celebrities.
The 30,000sq ft (2,787sq m) Springs Eternal Spa includes treatments from the resort’s eight natural springs, including The Magnesia Spring, which Native Americans used to help stomach ailments, and the Iron Springs.
Last month, Véronique Paquet was appointed as spa director for the spa at Bedford Springs. Paquet was previously spa director at Sundara Inn and Spa at Wisconsin Dells.
