The Devona Spa at Hilton Aberdeen TECA, UK, has relaunched following upgrades that include a new partnership with Germaine de Capuccini and the installation of a Wellness Lounge featuring technology from the Gharieni Group.

The new partnership with Germaine de Capuccini will see the spa’s four existing treatment rooms refurbished in line with the brand’s design aesthetic and fitted out with new treatment beds by Gharieni by Q1 of next year.

The new Wellness Lounge, which was converted from the spa’s former nail bar area, now has technology from Gharieni Group’s touchless technology wellness brand, Welnamis, such as an MLW Amphibia Welnamis bed that uses sound therapy and vibration for deep relaxation treatments.

The lounge also has a new Déesse Pro LED facial mask.

This lounge is in the treatment room area to provide easy access for guests looking to extend their relaxation experience before and after treatments.

Some spa furniture has been upgraded throughout the spa, with the addition of four heated poolside loungers and four loungers in the relaxation room.

Mark Langham, general manager, Hilton Aberdeen TECA, said: “The relaunch of Devona Spa is an exciting new chapter for the property. The new partnership with Germaine de Capuccini allows us to offer guests a refreshed, world-class spa experience right here in Aberdeen – and this is only the beginning. We are investing in the spa to receive the first Aberdeen 5-star Bubble rating by the Good Spa Guide, the leading spa judges in the UK.”

A spokesperson for the hotel told Spa Business, “The spa makes a significant contribution to the property’s overall revenue. Its continual growth has enabled the recruitment of new therapists, the launch of a new signature house treatment and the addition of new wellness facilities.

“Germaine de Capuccini is the brand of choice for our clientele because it perfectly blends luxury, innovation and results,” said the spokesperson.

“These enhancements not only increase spa usage but also strengthen the hotel’s overall offering, attracting more guests and encouraging repeat visits,” added the spokesperson. “As a result, the spa supports increased hotel bookings and overall guest satisfaction.”
