The Devarana Spa at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Bangkok will close on 7 June to undergo refurbishment work, which will see the facility temporarily relocated to the east wing of the hotel.
Work on the 1,300sq m (14,000sq ft) spa, which is due for completion by August this year, will include adding an entirely new rest area and registration desk as well as re-modelling the current stretch reception area.
Each of the 14 treatment rooms will also be updated and a new spa software system installed to improve the booking process.
Devarana’s managing director, Wipawadee Sirimongkolkasem, said: “Our original designer, P-Interior & Associates, has created blueprints which, when turned into reality, will prove a new enhancement to the Devarana experience.”
Treatments at the Devarana Dusit Thani include Swedish massage, reflexology, hydrotherapy, body scrubs and facials.
