Dusit International has revealed further details about its plans to bring its portfolio of property brands to India.
The first property, Dusit Thani Delhi, is expected to open in early 2010, followed by three luxury spa resorts in Rishikesh, Jaipur and Goa.
Dusit’s Indian expansion is the focus of a joint venture agreement with Bird Hospitality Services, a subsidiary of the Bird Group, signed in 2007.
Under the agreement, Bird Group committed to developing six hotels and spa resorts. Dusit International will then manage the hotels.
