The Swiss-based Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) has launched their Professional Certification in Spa Management programme.

The course has four spa-related themes - finance, marketing, human resources and operations and facility management - that have selected as the most relevant to the spa industry.

Each theme includes off-site exercises and is treated twice during the programme, once as a two-day module and then again as a three-day module, followed by an exam. The themes also include key tools that aid the development of the final management report project.

The EHL was founded in 1893 and has educated more than 25,000 hospitality industry executives. There are currently more than 1,800 students studying at the institution, from more than 90 different countries. Details: ehl.edu
