The Gansevoort Playa Imbert resort in the Dominican Republic, which opened in December 2015, will launch its on-site day spa in March 2015.
The 48-suite property is set beside a 400-acre (162-hectare) protected nature reserve on the island’s north coast.
At the resort’s centre there is a three-tier infinity pool overlooking Playa Imbert’s crescent-shaped beach. A second adults-only pool and fitness centre will open at the same time as the day spa in March.
The spa will feature a hammam-style sauna, juice bar, meditation and yoga garden and will offer manicures, pedicures, couples’ massages and facials for both men and women.
