An exclusive ladies-only health spa, evoking the image of 30s' sex siren Greta Garbo, has opened in Cheshire.

Membership of the privately-owned facility, which recently opened outside Wilmslow village, is limited to just 500, although non-members can also take advantage of the wide range of beauty treatments and holistic therapies.

Facilities include a gym equipped with Technogym's Bio Strength System, a studio for dance, aerobics, pilates, hatha yoga and tai chi classes, five treatment suites, a relaxation suite, a fibre optic steam room supplied by Dalesauna, a meditation suite, a sun shower (stand-up sun bed) and a monsoon shower.

Plans are also underway for an outdoor hot tub. A wide range of beauty treatments and holistic therapies are available, using products from La Prairie, Karin Herzog, E'Spa, Caci, St Tropez, Aculight and Vincent Longo among others.
