Green Spa Network Planet (GSN) has appointed five new members to its board of directors dedicated to leading the industry’s growth in the new green economy, helping to incorporate sustainable and regenerative business practices for the betterment of the planet.

GSN has welcomed the following elected members to the board:
  • Bret Dugan, chief operating officer, Soleil Toujours

  • Saied Karamooz, president, Blue Beautifly

  • Kate Morrison, director of wellness & sustainability, Ojai Valley Inn

  • Danny Silva, director of wellness, Auberge Resort – Stanly Ranch

  • Kenzie Vath, director of wellness & sustainability, Pacific Hospitality Group.

The five new additions have expanded the board’s membership to 17 directors.

According to GSN, existing and newly elected members are diverse and talented individuals who bring experience in practising sustainability in their personal and professional lives and bring international reach to the industry.

“We’re honoured and humbled by the response we received by so many professionals who were interested in serving the members and sponsors of GSN Planet,” says Thor Holm, GSN board president.

“It was a daunting task selecting this group from all those that applied, but that selection was based on the board’s present needs and the talents of the applicants. It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Brett, Danny, Kate, Kenzie and Saied to the dedicated group already working on our community’s and industry’s behalf.”

Existing board members include industry figures such as Rocco Bova, MD of Grupo Hotelero 1800, Lynn Curry, president of Curry Spa Consulting, Maggy Dunphy, founder of SOS-Spaproject.com, Sallie Fraenkel, president of Mind Body Spirit Network and Julie Andrews, chief creative officer at Kerstin Florian.

The full list of the board of directors is available on the official GSN website.
