The former Riga Hotel, set in the heart of the city, will be the first hotel in Latvia for Kempinski, and is set to open in early 2017.
With interiors by AK Interior Design, the spa will be managed by Resense and include six treatment rooms: four singles, one double and one suite.
It will also feature a rasul; extensive wet area with bio sauna, sauna, aroma steam, plunge pool and experience shower; a relaxation lounge, nail bar, swimming pool and fitness centre.
The spa philosophy centres on restoring the powerful effect of nature, either by adapting to the outside environment or by restoring inner balance.
Kempinski The Spa will use seasonal concepts and treatments combining the wisdom of flowers, plants and herbs, as well as advanced cosmeceutical treatments.
