Kempinski set to open in Ghana

Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City is set to open in Accra, Ghana in early 2013.

Located near the Accra International Conference Centre, State House and National Theatre, the resort will target both business and leisure travellers.

The hotel comprises 269 rooms including 22 suites and two presidential suites.

The 2,000sq m (21,527sq ft) Resense Spa will have 10 treatment rooms, a Hammam, a beauty parlour and a fitness centre.

Facilities will include a 25m outdoor swimming pool, yoga studios, two paddle tennis courts and two tennis courts.

There will be a range of restaurants and bars including the Papillon Brasserie, an all day dining area with outside seating and the Ceddar Garden with a menu of Lebanese mezzeh, and shisha.

The resort also boasts a 6000sq m (172,222sq m) of shopping facilities, a ballroom, conference centre and seven meeting rooms.
