The Retreats at The Estate will set us apart because it’s not episodic or transactional. It’s fully immersive, deeply personalised, and built around individual biology, behaviour, and aspiration

Kenneth Ryan, formerly at Marriott, has been appointed longevity officer for The Estate
The business is owned by SBE and backed by life coach Tony Robbins, musician Marc Anthony and investor Richard Attius
There are plans for 15 wellness retreats and 10 urban longevity centres globally
Clinique la Prairie and Fountain Life are both delivery partners
Kenneth Ryan, former VP of global operations for spa, fitness and retail at Marriott has been appointed chief longevity officer for luxury hospitality concept, The Estate.

Ryan will use his 27 years’ experience to introduce AI-driven health assessments, biological age tracking, tailored programming and more to the upcoming portfolio of properties.

The role will see him leading collaborations with biotech firms, longevity experts and medical institutions to bring therapies and wellness technologies to The Estate. He’ll also develop retreats, membership programmes, branded wellness products and longevity-focused experiences.

The business is owned by hospitality mogul Sam Nazarian’s operating firm, SBE, and backed by life coach Tony Robbins, musician Marc Anthony and investor Richard Attius.

The Estate’s portfolio is being designed to ‘reshape the future of luxury hotels and resorts’ by combining preventative medicine, AI diagnostics and longevity science with plans for a portfolio of 15 luxury wellness properties and 10 city-centre preventative medicine and longevity centres by 2030.

The first of these will be a 13,000sq ft flagship longevity centre at Century Plaza in Los Angeles which is slated to open by the end of the year. This will be operated by Fountain Life – a player in the longevity sector since 2020 and will offer advanced diagnostics and vetted therapeutics for those seeking a longer, healthier life.

The second property will be Kittitian Hill in St Kitts, the West Indies a resort founded in 2006 by Val Kempadoo, (page 45) which has since traded as the Belle Mount Sanctuary Resort.

In 2026, the concept will be rolled out in Miami, Florida; locations in the UK; Trento in Italy; Montreux in Switzerland and the Middle East.

Some locations will partner with Clinique La Prairie, the 90-year-old Swiss clinic, which is in the middle of a global rollout, to offer holistic treatments through the 'Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie' and its line of Longevity Supplements, CLP Holistic Health.

Certain properties will also have standalone residences and homes connected to the hotels and resorts, with residents having access to check-ups, medical therapies and guidance.

Ryan has been known as the strategist behind Marriott’s luxury brands, overseeing the world’s largest hospitality spa portfolio, comprising more than 650 locations generating US$540 million (€476 million, £408 million) annually. He has also worked with brands, including Fairmont, Raffles, Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis.

Commenting on the role, he told Spa Business: “The greatest challenge is ensuring every experience is as unique as the individual we’re serving – this isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. What sets The Estate apart is that longevity isn’t an amenity, it’s a core philosophy. We’re creating a way of living that’s as intentional as it is indulgent.

“The Retreats at The Estate will set us apart because it’s not episodic or transactional. It’s fully immersive, deeply personalised, and built around individual biology, behaviour, and aspiration. Every touchpoint is guided by data, elevated by luxury hospitality, and curated to extend healthspan, not just the vacation.

“Through our partnership with Fountain Life, our members will also have access to a proprietary app that extends their personalised health journey beyond their stay,” said Ryan. “From AI-driven insights and supplement protocols, to digital health tracking and continuous medical support, we’re delivering a new kind of care – one that travels with you. At The Estate, we don’t think in visits, we think in lifetimes.”

Earlier this month Ryan announced he was establishing his own consultancy, Ryan Wellness Group, following his departure from Marriott.
