Maxx Royal Resorts has crowned its new new 282-key coastal resort in Göltürkbükü, Türkiye, with a 4,500sq m spa
Home to 20 treatment rooms, the spa offers a blend of advanced medical-wellness treatments and holistic haling therapies
The spa was realised with the help of Promet – a Türkiye-based international spa design and build company
Wellness partners include Biologique Recherche, Art of Detox, Phytomer, Icoone, Swiss Perfection and Technogym
Turkish hospitality group Maxx Royal Resorts has launched a new upscale coastal retreat on Türkiye's Bodrum peninsula, complete with a large 4,500sq m destination spa.

Framed by landscaped gardens and views of the Aegean, the tiered Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort features 282 villas and suites and a contemporary design conceived by Turkish architect Mahmut Anlar.

The 20-treatment-room spa marks the flagship Maxx WellBeing Centre and provides holistic and science-based treatments from Biologique Recherche, Art of Detox, Phytomer, Icoone and Swiss Perfection.

Rituals on offer range from high-tech facials using micro current therapy, LED lights and mesotherapy to traditional Moroccan rose water-infused hammam experiences and Ayurvedic-inspired treatments.

In addition, the spa also offers advanced therapies such as ozone therapy and IV therapy.

Wellness facilities
The Maxx WellBeing Centre is home to a banya, a hammam, an infrared sauna, a ritual sauna and VIP spa suites, as well as a steamroom, an Olympic-sized central pool area, a halotherapy room, a rain room and scrub rooms with a Vichy shower.

Promet, a Türkiye-based international spa design and build company, served as the technical spa consultant for the thermal experiences throughout the spa and hotel.

Other wellbeing facilities include a relaxation space, a dedicated Medi-Spa area and a modern Technogym-clad gym equipped with a studio for group classes. The studio offers a variety of group classes, including reformer Pilates, antigravity yoga, breathwork, sound healing, spinning, and more.

A comprehensive visiting practitioner and retreat programme is also on offer, based on the Maxx Royal Seven Elements of Wellbeing programmes, combining traditional anti-ageing protocols with holistic healing rituals.

Plans to expand
Maxx Royal manages a portfolio of properties chosen for their exceptional locations, designed to blend with their natural surroundings and celebrate their Turkish heritage. The hospitality group's says its philosophy is based on creating memorable guest experiences underpinned by culture, wellness, family and gastronomy.

The recent launch of the Bodrum Resort marks the group’s third property in Türkiye, joining Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort and Maxx Royal Kemer Resort in Antalya.

Known as a playground for the rich and famous, Bodrum is becoming an increasingly popular hot spot for luxury tourism in the Mediterranean. The new Maxx Royal resort has opened in good company on the peninsula, joining existing destinations managed by upscale operators including Six Senses, Mandarin Oriental, Aman, Kempinski and Marriott.

Maxx Royal is now set to expand internationally, with work underway to realise Maxx Royal Maldives, its first property outside of Türkiye.
