Luxury spa for Kerala
POSTED 08 Dec 2006 . BY
India-based Saj Group, which specialises in building eco-friendly resorts, is to open the ayurveda-based Saj Earth Resort at Nedumbassery, Kerala, in 2007.

The 1,800sq ft (167sq m) spa will focus on rejuvenation and relaxation programmes lasting from 14 to 45 days.

The spa, situated near Cochin International Airport, will boast four treatment rooms and two consultation rooms with a separate rest area for pre- or post-treatment relaxation.

Therapies will include Panchakarma, skin and hair care and treatments focusing on easing arthritis, depression, obesity and anxiety.

Other facilities will include a swimming pool, restaurant, a sauna and spa pool.

Saj Earth Resort is the third property to be opened by Saj Group, which plans to open a total of six spa resorts by 2010. The two other spas it operates are the Vagamon Hide Out and Jungle Village in the Idukki district and Thekkady. Details: www.holidayatkerala.com
