Hotel group Le Méridien will open its first all-suite hotel in America in May. The 210-suite Le Méridien Sunny Isles Beach is also the group’s first property in Florida and includes a 6,000sq ft (557sq m) Le Spa.
Treatments are based on traditional European therapies and include caviar body wraps.
The spa will have both indoor and outdoor treatment rooms and other facilities include an infinity pool, an open-air yoga and exercise platform and a fitness centre overlooking the ocean.
In addition to the 126 one-bedroom and 80 two-bedroom suites, there will be four penthouses with private rooftop terraces.
Public areas include a 30-seat lobby bar, a BiCE restaurant.
