Maybourne intends to build a portfolio of Surrene properties as it expands with new locations worldwide
The upcoming Surrenne project is slated to launch in 2027 and become one of Paris' largest luxury spa and health clubs
Luxury hospitality group Maybourne Hotel Group has announced plans to open The Maybourne Saint-Germain in 2027, marking its debut in Paris and second property in France.

Located in the historic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, the palace-style hotel will introduce 101 guest rooms and suites, alongside 23 branded residences – a first for the Parisian market.

Maybourne's pioneering wellness and longevity brand, Surrenne, will sit at the heart of the development. First launched in 2024 at The Emory in London, Surrenne is designed to offer a guest-centric, science-backed and results-driven approach to wellness, with a holistic influence.

Conceptualised by industry consultant Inge Theron, the concept integrates cutting-edge health advancements with a refined, high-touch service philosophy.

Maybourne has confirmed that Surrenne will be a key feature in its future developments, with plans to expand the wellness concept across its pipeline of upcoming properties.

The operator claims the Parisian flagship will become one of the city's largest luxury spa and health clubs and offer health, fitness and beauty services, as well as exclusive access to three pools within the property.

For a comprehensive overview of Surrenne and exclusive insights about what inspired its inception, head to Spa Business’ in-depth interview with Theron.

Strategic growth in global luxury markets
“Paris, with its elegance and timeless style, is an ideal match for Maybourne’s vision of luxury hospitality,” said Gianluca Muzzi, co-CEO of Maybourne.

“Our presence in this iconic city reflects our commitment to creating elevated experiences that celebrate the local culture and our brand’s dedication to excellence. This opening marks an exciting step in our strategy to grow selectively in key urban gateways around the world, allowing us to build meaningful connections with our guests through rich and distinctive experiences.”

Situated along the Rive Gauche, The Maybourne Saint-Germain will be housed within the Îlot Saint-Germain, a 17th-century landmark undergoing a transformation for the modern era.

The property will retain a distinct identity while staying connected to the legacy of Maybourne's renowned hotels, including Claridge’s, The Connaught, The Emory and The Berkeley in London, as well as The Maybourne Beverly Hills and The Maybourne Riviera.

In addition to the hotel, the 23 branded residences will set a new standard for Parisian luxury living. Designed by esteemed French interior designers Pierre-Yves Rochon and Laura Gonzalez, the residences will offer private access to a dedicated residents-only pool, in addition to the hotel’s rooftop pool.

Residents and guests will also enjoy six curated dining experiences, including a Japanese restaurant, a patisserie, and an elegant Salon de Thé, envisioned to serve as the social hub of Saint-Germain.
