Michael Lahm has established a new turnkey spa development consultancy called Reservoir.

Lahm brings 30 years’ experience in leadership and development of projects and properties for a diverse range of brands, most recently with consultancy TLee Spas.

He told Spa Business that Reservoir will work on projects from ideation and planning of design-forward spa and wellness environments to implementation.

Lahm said: “Carefully attuned to each project’s unique context and diverse stakeholders, Reservoir approaches each endeavour with critical thinking and project-specific creativity to deliver enduring returns for owners and investors.”

Reservoir is a virtual company with offices in the US in New York City, Orange County, Savannah and Birmingham, Michigan.

The company has projects in North America and is open to taking on work in Europe and beyond.

Lahm said: “We partner with visionaries: owners, operators and developers who seek to make wellness a defining hallmark of their hospitality, mixed-use, private club and residential projects.”

• Marjani Smith (principal), co-founder of The Corner Suite.
• Julia Robertson (creative director), co-founder of The Corner Suite.
• Jeanie Klueter (design director), LEED-certified architect and former design lead at WATG.

Lahm said Reservoir's first clients include a new global hospitality brand with a strong wellness focus, an ultra-luxury branded residential development in South Florida, a private wellness and social club in Columbus, Ohio and a Proper-branded hotel and residences in Dallas.
