Susie Ellis, chair and CEO of the Global Wellness Summit (GWS), has announced that Phuket, Thailand, will be the host destination for the 20th anniversary summit next year.

The announcement marks the grand finale of the 2025 event held this week in Dubai, UAE.

Ellis and Nancy Davis, chief creative officer and executive director of GWI and GWS, revealed the location during the event’s signature flag-raising ceremony.

Dr Pongsadhorn Pokpermdee, director general of the department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, said: “To be selected as the host of GWS 2026 is a significant recognition of Thailand’s long-standing commitment to holistic health.

“Thailand is a nation of captivating beauty and rich healing wisdom,” he said.
