Luxury spa operator Renova Spa has opened a new site at the Hotel Riu Dunamar in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Featuring five treatments rooms – including two double suites – the spa has separate steamrooms for men and women, a large relaxation area, spa terrace, health and fitness suite and a hair and nail salon.

The spa has been designed to complement the hotel’s offering for wedding parties, including two oceanfront wooden gazebos in which couples can have beach massages.

The treatment menu features products from Payot, L’Oreal and OPI and includes body treatments, facials, massages and a wide range of packages for couples.

The opening is part of a wider management deal between Renova Spa and Spanish operator Riu Hotel and Resorts, which has seen a number of Renova-branded spas open at Riu resorts.

Launched in 1997, Renova now operates 50 spas in 10 countries.
