Image: El Zyr is eyeing further growth in Turkey Rotana has signed a management agreement with Rhossos Tourism and Hospitality to operate the new 300-bedroom Rhossos Rotana Resort and Serviced Apartments in Iskenderun, Turkey.
The management agreement marks Rotana's expansion into Turkey, with the new property scheduled to open in 2014. Facilities will include a Turkish spa and health club.
A 200m (656ft) private beach, a swimming pool and a number of food outlets are also proposed, with the resort to target leisure and business travellers alike.
The complex will also include a high-end retail destination alongside the hotel and serviced apartments, which will meet the needs of the Iskenderun community.
Rotana president and CEO Selim El Zyr said: "Turkey has always been a very important market for Rotana and we aim to manage hotels in key locations within the country, marking our entry with the landmark Rhossos Rotana Iskenderun property."
