Six Senses to expand Evason brand in Vietnam
POSTED 05 Jul 2005 . BY
Six Senses Resorts & Spas is preparing to open its third Evason-branded resort and spa in Vietnam, bringing the total number of Evason properties it operates in the country to three.

The 57-room Ana Mandara Villas Dalat is scheduled to open early in 2006.

The property will complement the existing Six Senses resorts in Vietnam: Ana Mandara, an Evason Resort and Spa, which opened in February 2003, and Evason Hideaway at Ana Mandara, which had its soft opening in January of this year.

The Hideaway resort, which is already 85 per cent open, will be fully operational by the end of 2005. It includes a Six Senses Spa with five spa villas, surrounded by natural rock pools, rock formations and a waterfall.

At Ana Mandara Villas Dalat, the Six Senses Spa will occupy one of 17 restored French colonial villas, originally constructed between the 1920s and 1930s.

Spa facilities will include five treatment rooms, outdoor hot tubs and a relaxation garden room. Another villa is being converted into a restaurant, while the remaining 15 will be converted into fully serviced hotel accommodation.

Other properties operated under the Evason brand include Evason Phuket, Evason Hua Hin, Evason Hideaway Hua Hin, and Sila Evason Hideaway at Koh Samui, all in Thailand.
