Marriott International has announced that six Boscolo Hotels across Europe have joined its Autograph Collection, which comprises independent properties selected for originality.
The Autograph Collection's first European hotels were added in Spain earlier this year, with the latest additions - featuring sites in Italy and Hungary - taking its global portfolio to 26.
Four properties will join the Autograph Collection in September - Boscolo Palace Roma and Boscolo Venezia, Italy; Boscolo Prague, Czech Republic; and Boscolo Budapest, Hungary.
The remaining two - Boscolo Exedra Roma and Boscolo Milano, Italy - will be added to the Autograph Collection next year. Each of the properties incorporate spa and wellness facilities.
Marriott International's president and managing director in Europe, Amy McPherson, said: "Located in some of the most spectacular cities in the world, each hotel is truly one-of-a-kind.
"We strongly believe that Autograph Collection will continue to be a huge growth platform for us and a key component of our European expansion strategy as we seek to reach 80,000 rooms in Europe by 2015."
Boscolo Group vice president Giorgio Boscolo added: "[We] have great confidence in Marriott's ability to help us gain additional global exposure and reach new emerging markets."
