Sophie Benge confirms three-day Menopause Retreat
POSTED 25 Oct 2019 . BY Megan Whitby
Individual retreat bookings start at £1,250 (US$1,559, €1,386) and include accommodation and meals.

Aging Gracefully is born from my experience with the menopause, my years working in wellbeing and my passionate belief that this changing phase of life can be joyful.
– Sophie Benge, Aging Gracefully founder
Spa writer and consultant, Sophie Benge, will run a three-day Menopause retreat between 28 November – 1 December at Goodnestone Park, UK.

Benge has 20 years of experience in the wellness industry and set up the retreat, named Aging Gracefully, three years ago, following her own experience with the menopause.

Benge has selected five women to host the event whose approaches she admires and who’ve had an impact on her.

Designed to help navigate the biological and emotional ups and downs of this life stage, the retreat will focus on hormones, nutrition, feminine energy, the way we move and the magic of sound.

Benge has enlisted the help of gynaecologist Dr Annie Neill, nutritional therapist Jackie McCusker, sound therapist Susan Winchester and Kalindi Jordan, a specialist in human energy, psychology and sexuality.

Paola Ferretti Johnson will also help host the retreat. She is a qualified practitioner in the Feldenkrais method – a somatic form of movement, based on principles of physics, neurology and physiology, to relieve restricted movement and chronic pain and improve posture and flexibility.

The retreat programme consists of movement classes, sound sessions, group workshops and outdoor activities.

Face and body treatments are also available at an added cost.

An individual retreat booking starts at £1,250 (US$1,559, €1,386) and includes accommodation and meals.
