Business development manager appointed for Subtle Energies and Hammamii
POSTED 20 Feb 2017 . BY Rebecca Barnes
Sarah Dalton, who was previously with distributor Sarum Trading in Dubai, has joined Subtle Energies and Hammamii as business development manager.

She will be based in the Middle East, covering the GCC countries Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, but also covering larger areas for both brands including Europe, South East Asia and India.

Dalton will be jointly working for both brands on a part-time basis to establish and nurture partnerships with spa destinations and retailers.

Both Subtle Energies and Hammamii are seeing major growth in the GCC market. This is thanks to the number of new hotel properties opening and the fact that there is now a permanent brand representative in the region, which allows a deeper level of support for accounts.

With their ingredients and aromatic profile, both brands are well suited for the region demographics - there is a drive for operators to provide real wellness solutions, and they are viewed as authentic and appealing offerings.

Hammamii has recently launched with Fairmont in Fujeirah, while last year Subtle Energies launched with Al Bustan Palace, Muscat and has been earmarked for three new projects in the region to be announced. This will add to their current existing portfolio which includes Sharq Village by Ritz Carlton in Doha, Zighy Bay Oman and Six Senses Kuwait.

Nick Irani, director of operations at Subtle Energies, said: “The growth of our business led us to look for an addition to our team who aligns with our philosophy and intent to create natural, empowering skincare treatments. Sarah's appointment is a sign of our commitment to providing high quality service to our partners and customers."

Shawna Morneau, owner of Hammamii, said. “Sarah completely understands the vision for the brand and shares my enthusiasm for it. I look forward to watching her work her magic.”
