Subtle Energies develops programmes to support emotional and physical recovery from lockdown

Individually our treatment programmes are known to be really active in providing therapeutic results but as a series in a short period of time you do get an escalation, especially alongside the DIY treatment with the prescription kits

Ayurveda aromatherapy product house, Subtle Energies, has developed two programmes for people coming
out of isolation to help restore their bodies physically, mentally and emotionally.

The company is working with select properties by Six Senses, Peninsula Hotels, Mandarin Oriental, and Crown Towers to offer the programmes which will be introduced via a phased approach as lockdown eases.

Each programme will involve a consultation, a DIY wellness prescription kit, webinars for anxiety and stress, guided meditation and yoga and where possible, results-driven spa treatments using Subtle Energies’ products.

Depending on locations’ local regulations, Subtle Energies will roll out contactless elements first including virtual webinars, consultations and meditations as well as the prescription kit. Then the full programme will be rolled out once touch treatments and classes are approved.

The two programmes – named ReSet and ReEnergise – are designed with contactless elements and virtual experiences, as well as physical in-person treatments and classes.

The first programme, called ReEnergise, focuses on assisting fatigue, strengthening muscles and joints, supporting immunity and encouraging detoxification, while ReSet is claimed to support a healthy mind, body and spirit, restore balance, ease anxiety and ground participants to keep moving forward.

Prices and schedules will range between locations as Subtle Energies will work with each participating property to create bespoke programming based on each one’s available facilities and regulations, and then adapt this to help reach the goals of the programme.

For example, Mandarin Oriental Dubai will be complimenting the programme with its IV therapy facilities.

The courses are designed to be face-to-face but also contain DIY guides for the guest to use in between and post-treatments using their product prescription kits.

Nick Irani, Subtle Energies’ director of operations and brand development, said: “The core of each programme is based around doing three face-to-face treatments within a week or in consecutive days.

“Individually our treatment programmes are known to be really active in providing therapeutic results but as a series in a short period of time you do get an escalation, especially alongside the DIY treatment with the prescription kits.”

ReEnergise spa treatments will centre around Subtle Energies Deep Relief Massage or Advanced Holistic Massage, as well as Detox and Adrenal body scrub or Himalayan Energising Body scrub.

The accompanying take-home kit will feature core products including Subtle Energies’ Rasayana Detoxification Blend containing adaptogens such as tulasi and wild turmeric, a muscle ease blend which is designed to soothe congestion, and an Aura Protection Mist to help awaken the senses.

ReSet spa treatments may include Blissful Marma Massage, holistic anti-ageing facial, Sleep Support Therapies to relieve tension and anxiety and will be finished with guided meditation and affirmations.

The take-home kit will be based on Subtle Energies’ signature Sleep Programme Prescription Kit and include a Facial Blend and Bliss Blend which have active ingredients claimed to impact the pineal and pituitary glands.

When the timing is right for the programmes to be safely implemented, the first destination to offer it will be Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai. Next to follow will be Crown Towers in Melbourne and Perth.

Once Paris, Tokyo, New York and Chicago also reach a certain phase in their re-opening, the Peninsula hotels across all four cities and Mandarin Oriental Tokyo will roll out.

Six Senses will also offer these programmes in a destination setting combined with their wellness offering at Six Senses Laamu, Six Senses Spa Kunfunadhoo at Soneva Fushi and Six Senses at Elounda, Crete, Greece.
