Terranea resort and spa to launch in June 2009

Work on the US$450m (326m euro, £221m) Terranea resort and spa in Rancho Palos Verdes, US, is on schedule with the property due to launch in June 2009.

Managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts (DH&R), the 102-acre resort will overlook the Pacific Ocean with a 25,000sq ft (2,322sq m) spa designed by San Francisco-based BAMO.

The facility will offer 24 treatment rooms, with Bramham & Schultz acting as consultants on the project. Details: terranea.com
