A new Eastern spa has opened at the InterContinental La Torre hotel in Spain.

Featuring therapists trained by the Temple of Po in Bangkok, Thailand, the new space contains six treatment rooms, each individually designed and styled with silks from China as well as Asian-sourced antiques and furniture.

All the therapies offered - including facials, body scrubs and wraps - have their roots in Asia and have been inspired by Thai traditions, Indonesian Jamu, ayurveda and Indian yoga. Details: intercontinental.com
