Five-star hotel The Ritz in London, UK, which will mark its centenary in 2006, has opened a new spa treatment room as part of a refurbishment of its existing hair and beauty salon.
Located on the seventh floor of the hotel, the spa will employ one, full-time therapist who will offer a selected range of beauty treatments including massages and facials, using Aromatherapy Associates products, to hotel guests and outside visitors.
However, according to a spokesperson for The Ritz, there are no future plans to open a fully-fledged spa offering at the hotel as the building is Grade II listed and no facilities currently exist for further expansion.
The Ritz will mark its centenary in 2006 with a number of celebrations. Details: www.theritzlondon.com
