Total Beauty has acquired the Professional Beauty brand from Emap for an undisclosed sum.
The Professional Beauty show planned to run at Olympia in London, UK, in March 2011 will now be rolled into Total Beauty's February 2011 event at London's Excel venue to create one mega-show.
Total Beauty’s Managing Director, Mark Moloney, said: "On behalf of the team, I'd like to thank our friends in the industry for their support, putting us in the position of being able to create one truly fantastic show at Excel next year.
"We will be working with suppliers, salon owners and therapists to make sure that the Professional Beauty brand via its magazine and exhibitions serve as a catalyst for growth for the health and beauty industry as a whole."
Professional Beauty magazine will continue to be published by Total Beauty from January 2011 while the Professional Beauty Manchester exhibition, on 10-11 October 2010, will continue as planned and be run by Emap as their last event. Details: totalbeautyshow.com
