The UKSA has updated its mission statement for 2026
It will host a new jobs board on its website
Members will have a certain number of credits to use against job listings
Non-members may get the chance to pay a fee to post job adverts in the future

The UK Spa Association (UKSA) has announced it will launch an industry job board to help members to find staff.

This recruitment tool is one of a series of initiatives the association will deliver, in alignment with its new strategy for 2026.

The updated mission statement for the year is: “Uniting and empowering the UK spa industry through support, education, collaboration, national advocacy and an ongoing drive for positive change within the wellness sector.”

Bobby Griffiths, UKSA general manager, said, “Our updated mission statement makes clear our agenda and commitment to the industry and we have some incredible projects and developments to reveal in 2026.”

Jobs board

The jobs board will be hosted on the UKSA website.

The UKSA told Spa Business that listings will be possible for all spa industry roles and for all job types and levels. This includes listings for staff sought by operators and suppliers.

It will be free for members to list roles they are recruiting for; each member will receive a number of credits to use to post positions. In the future, UKSA may charge non-members a fee to use the service.

Abi Selby, UKSA chair, said: “Recruitment is such a key piece of the puzzle in supporting our industry. The UKSA is keen to support the longevity of our industry by adding this benefit for our members.”

Priorities for 2026

The UKSA will focus on a number of other key industry drivers this year.

  • Education – UKSA will work to highlight apprenticeship schemes that remain underutilised. It will also outline pathways for development for therapists in order to encourage retention in spas.
  • Cancer education – The association will work with its partner charity, Look Good Feel Better, to educate members on how to ensure accessibility for guests living with cancer. The charity will continue to offer free face-to-face make-up, skincare and nailcare workshops to help those experiencing cancer to regain confidence. UKSA member suppliers and operators will be able to support these workshops.
  • Benefits and networking events – UKSA will bolster its calendar of meet-up events in addition to providing further yet-to-be-announced member benefits.
  • Communication – the industry body will also improve its communication strategy, highlighting the progress it is making and also educating the industry on its role and purpose.
